Garden Slug

Just a while ago, we were cracking our brains for a place we could eat as a family in the East. And we found a restaurant tucked away in a small corner of Telok Kurau.

What a name for a restaurant!

Don’t expect too much comfort or ambience here. In fact the place looked like it was unrenovated since the ‘70s!

Mosaic flooring

BUT, I must say the food here is GOOD!

GOOD meaning generous portions, tasty, wholesome and healthy and affordable.

Juicy Shrimp and Roast Pumpkin Pasta

Look at this absolutely delightful dish! Tomato based and full of juicy prawns and good pumpkin!

Light Cream Carbonara with Smoked Ham, Bacon and Chunky Mushrooms

Where in SG can you find another place that serves such generous portions of ham in the carbonara?? This dish is addictive!

Honey-glazed Chicken

Very healthy tasting. This part of the chicken is too dry for my liking. I personally prefer eating the thigh and wings.

We ate here twice since we discovered it. And we’ll be back definitely!
