Here we are at Phuket’s Kata Beach again… This time with our long time good friends- Joe & Em and Ed & Minghui.
Well, Kata Beach is a really quiet beach compared to the main Patong beach. You should come here if you need to relax… Enjoy the sights, swim, eat, casually shop, massage.
Here are the pics!
Us on a mini-bus
I think Ed is afraid of falling out as you can see him holding on tight…
We were off to the tailor’s. The last time round, hubby did 8 office shirts here at a very good price. I, yes me, like the material of the shirts too. Because they were very easy to iron. :)
I was persuading the hubby to get more shirts here. Heehee… But too bad, the designs were rather limited, so he has decided to try another tailor at Bangkok instead.
Anyway, this tailor is rated #1 tourist destination on Trip Advisor. Here’s the website http://www.phukettailor-instyle.com/.
And here’s more shopping for us girls at Kata Beach!
Accessories shop
One of the few shopping alleys
Some of the shops were not bad! But we think shopping at BKK might be cheaper.
Interesting products…
Such cooooool specs! Tempted to buy for parties.
We were also tempted to buy these adorable, bouncy toys for our sons… I personally like Mr. Zebra!
Earrings aplenty!
Many shops selling souvenirs. And I think Thais are very creative people. Look at this guy. He is carving bars of Palmolive soap into flowers!
Pretty!
And here’s a roadside artist who was singing (off-key) loudly as he paints. Well, artistic people sometimes can be umm, eccentric. But he’s not bad isn’t he?
Kickboxing shows available. Anyone interested?
More posts of our trip to come!
