A Christmas Carol

About a week ago, Jared & I went to catch A Christmas Carol- the story of an old stingy man, Ebenezer Scrooge who hates Christmas, the season of merry and giving.

When the movie started, I asked Jared if the movie was cartoon or real… Of cos it was not real! But the texture, the expressions, the lighting… makes the cartoon extremely life-like!

There were a number of parents who brought their kids to watch this movie. Beware! Some parts of the movie is not for the faint-hearted, not to mention the kids. I remembered covering my eyes during some of the scenes. The ghostly images, sound effects and BOO! unexpected (not really actually) appearance of the ghosts. Phew!

So if you are the easily scared type and still want to watch the movie, then let me warn u that the 1st and the last ghosts, Marley his friend (or rather, ex-friend) and ghost of X’mas future, are the scariest!

But the story I must say had a warm, lovey dovey ending. A feel-good movie because Scrooge eventually (after 4 hauntings) got convicted to continue his life in a better way- being happy and generous.

So yea, overall, it’s a really heart-warming story to catch. I know some people find it hard to part with their $10 for a cartoon but this movie is so life-like! So, here’s my rating for the movie:
